Our client in Essex are currently looking for a Qualified Science Teacher to work within the science department.

The role will be based at any of the school's sites in Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester/East Mearsea and Chelmsford/Roydon

Objectives of post

- To deliver and manage a high quality learning programme to pupils, most of whom have SEBD and have been excluded from mainstream education or are non-attenders

- Teachers are responsible for high quality teaching and learning.

- Differentiating the National Curriculum to meet the needs of pupils who have SEBD and have been excluded from or who are non-attenders of mainstream education and devising Individual Education Plans to reflect their development needs.

- Devising schemes of work, lessons plans and curriculum projects to meet the above.

The succesful candidate must have:

- experience working with SEBD pupils
- QTS
- A recent enhanced CRB

It is essential that he or she is committed to working with SEBD pupils.
